1. Acceptance of Agreement
You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions of use Agreement (“Agreement”) with respect to our site (the “Site”). This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties and understandings with respect to the Site, the content, products or services provided by or through the Site, and the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by us at any time and from time to time without specific notice to you. The latest Agreement will be posted on the Site, and you should review this Agreement prior to using the Site.
2. Prices
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include UK duty and VAT. Delivery charges are additional unless otherwise specified.
In the event that a product you order has been inadvertently incorrectly priced on our website we will contact you by phone or email to advise the correct price and confirm if you still want to place the order. We strive to ensure all our prices are correct at all times but errors can occur.
3. Age Restriction
We will not sell wine or any alcohol to anyone under 18 years old. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
If you are buying a case of wine as a gift – the recipient must also be over 18 years old.
If our delivery driver or couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately we will be unable to leave the wine.
4. Availability
All our products are subject to availability and we will endeavour to ensure all out of stock lines are removed from the website. In the event that you order a product that becomes unavailable we will contact you by phone or email to advise of an alternative or to allow you to cancel your order and receive a refund.
5. Security
All information (including credit card details) is sent and received using up-to-date secure e-commerce software. We continuously monitor and implement new security protocols and software as they become available.
6. Purchasing from The Cheshire Wine and Cheese Co
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and to allow us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto shippers and/or other subcontractors). We will not use your personal information or other details for any other purposes.
7. Cheese is Perishable.
Our cheese is freshly cut to order and is a perishable product with a limited shelf life of around 10 days. Please bear this is mind when placing your order and choosing your delivery date
8. Payments.
You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us or from our Merchants that (i) any credit card information you supply is true, correct and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
9. Ordering cheese for Special Occasions
If you are ordering your cheese for a wedding, birthday or special occasion, we advise that you call us if you require specific cuts or styles of cheese so that we can ensure your order is to your liking and that we have the suitable cheeses in stock for your event.
